Your Role: Family Support Advocate - Strong Communities

Pay: $23/hour

Your Toolkit Should Include:

• Bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, social work, or related field OR 1-3 years' hands-on experience supporting children and families in crisis situations
• Understanding of child development, community resources, and system navigation
• Ability to work effectively in multicultural, multilingual, and socioeconomically diverse communities
• Strong organizational skills with precise documentation and follow-through
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Valid CA Class C driver's license
• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency required

Your Superpowers Include:

• Engaging and recruiting families through community outreach and events
• Conducting assessments and creating individualized service plans
• Providing in-home support on parenting, child safety, and development
• Connecting families to culturally responsive community resources and systems
• Coordinating services, advocating for family needs, and maintaining accurate documentation
• Representing the program at meetings, trainings, and community activities while modeling TIROC and DEI principles
