Your Role: Family Support Counselor

Location: Los Angeles

Pay: $24/hour

Your Superpowers Should Include:

• High school diploma required (Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Experience working with or serving children and families
• A natural ability to build trust and connect authentically across diverse family structures and cultures
• Solid understanding of infant and child development
• Openness to reflective practice, self-awareness, and clinical supervision
• Bilingual English/Spanish required (infant mental health endorsement a plus)

Your Toolbox Includes:

• Building long-term, trusting relationships with families through regular home visits, walking alongside them for up to 3-5 years
• Delivering family-centered, strength-based support that nurtures parent-child bonds and healthy child development
• Managing a caseload of 15-20 families, conducting assessments, screenings, and individualized service planning
• Connecting families to critical community resources and providing crisis support when it matters most
• Championing a trauma-informed, empathetic approach in every interaction - with families, staff, and partners alike
• Maintaining thorough case documentation, contact logs, and home visit records
• Representing the agency at community outreach events and collaboration meetings
